Sonja Russ

Pre-First Associate Teacher
Pace Parent

As the parent of a current student and an alumna, Sonja Russ’ roles in the Pace community have been many and varied—ranging from class grade representative to Girl Scout troop leader, ultimately leading to her current position as an associate teacher for Pace’s youngest learners. “All of these experiences have been and continue to be extremely rewarding,” Sonja says.

“At Pace, each student is encouraged to explore collaboratively with peers, as well as individually, to reach conclusions using creative and innovative measures, and to excel as empathetic citizens of the world. These experiences create divergent thinkers who become lifelong learners. What’s not to love?”

Accelerate Pace “offers Pace the opportunity to continue to be a global leader in education through significant enhancements to our campus,” Sonja says. “From state-of-the-art maker spaces for STEAM classes to meeting spaces for both students and parents, the new spaces will benefit the Pace community tremendously.”
