Nirvana Scott

Lower School Orchestra Teacher
Lower School Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator

Nirvana Scott’s roles in Pace’s Lower School speak to two of her passions, music and social justice. The orchestra teacher and diversity and inclusion coordinator explains, “It's so important to me that all my students feel like they belong at Pace. Children who know they are part of a supportive community feel safe, and those are the conditions we need to develop healthy minds and happy musicians.”

Nirvana is excited that Accelerate Pace “will launch our entire school into a new and innovative space.” She values Pace as a leader in educating the whole child, and feels the campaign demonstrates a commitment to students. “By adding new facilities for arts, science and play, we're honoring the importance of ‘accelerating’ the youngest minds.”

"To me, Accelerate Community means that we are invested in developing a community that is prepared for the future.” She explains, “This new building will be a home for the values we've always honored, such as education, character and excellence, and that's not changing. We are accelerating our commitment to building a place where every Pace family belongs.”
